I started out as a schoolteacher who loved two things: teaching and travel. Turning those passions into a purpose made me an entrepreneur, an author, and co-founder of Village Impact with my husband Stu. I'm a mom of two, and Kenya has become my second home.
For years I've been creating experiences for my charity, my community, and the women who travel with me to Kenya. And I've learned something: the moments people remember are rarely the big ones.
It's the welcome at the door. The note they didn't expect. The way it all ends.
